About Maternity Foundation 

• Daily and project-specific bookkeeping 

• Bank payments (national and international). 

• Other Bank transactions. 

• Issuing and handling invoices. 

• Monthly bank reconciliations. 

• Payroll and holiday administration (Danløn). 

• Managing travel expenditures accounts. 

• Contributing to overall financial reporting and forecasting. 

• Supporting financial donor reporting. 

• Assisting in budgeting and liquidity management. 

Qualifications and experience required

• Relevant education within finance/accounting/bookkeeping or profound knowledge of accounting principles. 

• Strong IT skills, especially in Excel and ERP systems like Uniconta or similar.

• Interest in and capability of optimizing processes and driving digital transformation 

• Experience with paperless accounting is an asset 

• Fully proficient in English and Danish. 

• Minimum 3 years of all-round accounting experience. 

• Experience with financial management of donor-funded projects is considered an asset. 

• Experience with payroll management is considered an asset.

Terms and conditions

The position is a permanent full-time or part-time employment based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The way of working is a hybrid model with the possibility to work from home up to twice a week. Salary will be negotiated based on qualifications and Maternity Foundation’s salary scale guidelines.
