Abdul Rahman Safi
IRL Intern – Clinical, Training, Programme & Grant MgtI am from Afghanistan, born and raised in Pakistan. Currently I am completing my bachelor's in Healthcare Management at Marmara University, Istanbul where I have been living for the past five years. My academic interests include comparative health systems, health financing, health policy, and biostatistics, and I'm planning to build a career in global health and policy.
I am particularly interested in how health systems can be strengthened through evidence-based policies and effective use of resources, especially in diverse and resource-limited environments.
Alongside my studies, I am actively involved in youth leadership, advocacy, volunteering, and community-focused initiatives in Istanbul, which have given me the opportunity to engage with diverse communities and contribute to youth-led initiatives. In my free time I like playing chess and sports such as cricket and badminton, and exploring poetry and literature.
