Regional Head of Sub-Saharan Africa – Clinical, Training, Programme & Grant MgtJackline Cheruiyot is an accomplished global health professional with over 14 years of experience in programme design, implementation and strategic partnerships, with a strong focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), maternal and newborn health (MNH) and digital health innovation. As Head of Sub-Saharan Africa at Maternity Foundation, Jackline leads the strategic direction and regional implementation of the Safe Delivery+ Programme. She oversees country-level partnerships, manages multi-stakeholder engagement with partners and ministries of health, and drives the integration of digital tools and blended learning approaches into national health systems.
Jackline holds a master’s degree in project planning and management and a bachelor’s degree in finance and IT. She brings extensive experience working across Sub-Saharan Africa and India, with a proven track record in managing multi-country programmes, mobilising resources and scaling human-centered digital innovations. Her work bridges health systems strengthening, public-private collaboration and the sustainable delivery of evidence-based solutions that improve health outcomes for women, newborns and frontline health workers.
