Kirsten Cheung
IRL Intern – Clinical, Training, Programme & Grant MgtKirsten Cheung is joining the IRL team coming out of her MSc in Public Health for Global Practice at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has a passion for sexual and reproductive health and its intersection with environmental health. During her BSc in Life Sciences, Chemistry, and Earth & Environmental Science she researched topics from endocrine disruptors in breastmilk to menstrual health and WASH. Her dissertation work with the PROMISE trial examining how pregnant women and antenatal care workers in Harare, Zimbabwe experience and adapt to climate-related risks. Outside work she can usually be found hiking, scuba diving, or knitting something cozy.
