Country Head, India – Clinical, Training, Programme & Grant Mgt​

Bright is a Nursing and Public Health professional with more than 12 years of experience in advocacy, policy formulation, curriculum development, planning, and implementation of health system strengthening programs. She is leading Maternity Foundation’s clinical portfolio in India.

Before joining Maternity Foundation, she worked with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Jhpiego and various academic institutions. She has provided technical support to the MoHFW, and the Indian Nursing Council for rolling out the midwifery initiative and strengthening the Nursing and Midwifery Cadre in the country. She is a member of international and national technical working groups for nursing and midwifery education and MNH.
