Abra Pearl
Senior Clinical & Training Manager – Clinical, Training, Programme & Grant MgtPearl joined the global clinical team in January 2023 and is based in India. She works with clinical content in the Safe Delivery App and leads the clinical training portfolio within the clinical team. She manages the MF trainings and provides expert guidance during implementation of the Training of Trainers programmes globally, regionally and nationally, including the Communities of Practice (CoP).
Pearl is a nurse midwife holding a doctorate degree (PhD) from Pondicherry Central University, India. She has vast experience in the field of nursing and midwifery education and public health. In her previous assignments she had supported the Indian Nursing Council in rolling out the midwifery initiative in India and has contributed towards quality preservice nursing and midwifery education in the country. Her areas of expertise are programme implementation, application of latest educational technology, midwifery curriculum integration, instructional design, clinical training, and quality assurance in midwifery education.
