Regional Head of Asia/MENA/LAC – Clinical, Training, Programme & Grant Mgt​

Julie is Regional Head at Maternity Foundation, where she leads the regional team and drives the scale-up and institutionalisation of the Safe Delivery Programme across Asia, including India, the Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Her work focuses on strengthening health systems and improving the quality of care by equipping midwives and healthcare professionals with practical tools, knowledge and support.

Julie is a global health professional with 14 years of experience in programme development, strategic partnerships, resource mobilisation and business development, with a strong focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Throughout her career, she has worked across strategy, partnership development, donor engagement and programme implementation, connecting resource mobilisation and delivery to advance sustainable health impact.

She holds a master’s degree in international development and a bachelor’s degree in communication. Fluent in English, Spanish and Danish, Julie brings a collaborative and multicultural approach to building partnerships and advancing equitable, high-impact health initiatives globally.”
